Questions
Are these IELTS practice tests free?+
Yes. Creating an account is free, and the free Starter plan includes a set of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking tests. Tests marked Premium open with the Achiever or Mastery plan.
Is this the same as the computer-delivered IELTS (CD IELTS)?+
The tests run in an interface built to match the computer-delivered IELTS: the same layout, timer, highlighting, notes, question navigation and word count, so test day feels familiar.
Do I get a band score?+
Listening and Reading are marked instantly with a band estimate. Writing is marked by AI on Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. Speaking is scored on fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
Academic or General Training?+
Listening and Speaking are the same for both. The Reading passages and Writing Task 1 follow the Academic format.
Can I see my mistakes?+
Yes. Every answer is reviewed after the test: which questions you missed, the question types you struggle with, and patterns such as True/False/Not Given mix-ups or spelling errors.
